Morningstar DBRS Discontinues Credit Ratings on Auto ABS UK Loans plc
AutoDBRS Ratings Limited (Morningstar DBRS) discontinued its credit ratings on the Class A2a and Class A3a notes (together, the Rated Notes) issued by Auto ABS UK Loans plc.
The discontinuations reflect the full repayment of the Rated Notes on the 27 March 2024 payment date following the unwinding of the transaction as agreed between Stellantis Financial Services UK Limited (Stellantis UK) acting as seller and the funding agents of the Rated Notes, among others, via a signed deed of redemption, termination, and release on 27 March 2024.
Prior to their repayment in full, the credit ratings and the outstanding principal balances of the Rated Notes were as follows:
-- Class A2a Notes rated AAA (sf); GBP 112,070,108.84
-- Class A3a Notes rated AAA (sf); GBP 112,070,108.84

The principal methodology applicable to the credit ratings is: “Master European Structured Finance Surveillance Methodology” (7 March 2024), https://dbrs.morningstar.com/research/429051.
Other methodologies referenced in this transaction are listed at the end of this press release.
In Morningstar DBRS’ opinion, a discontinued-repaid credit rating action does not warrant the application of the entire principal methodology, as the bonds have been repaid in full.

Morningstar DBRS did not rely upon third-party due diligence in order to conduct its analysis.
At the time of the initial credit ratings, Morningstar DBRS was supplied with third-party assessments. However, this did not affect the credit rating analysis.

Morningstar DBRS does not audit or independently verify the data or information it receives in connection with the credit rating process.
The last credit rating action on this transaction took place on 24 November 2023, when Morningstar DBRS confirmed its credit ratings on the Class A2a and Class A3a notes at AAA (sf), respectively.
