DBRS Morningstar Assigns Ratings of BBB (high) With Stable Trends to Enbridge Inc.’s Newly Issued Medium-Term Notes

DBRS Limited (DBRS Morningstar) assigned ratings of BBB (high) with Stable trends to Enbridge Inc.’s CAD 1.1 billion 3.1% unsecured sustainability-linked medium-term notes maturing on September 21, 2033, and CAD 400 million 4.1% unsecured medium-term notes maturing on September 21, 2051 (collectively, the Notes). The ratings assigned to these Notes are based upon the rating on the already-outstanding series of Senior Unsecured Notes.

The net proceeds will be used for repayment of short-term debt, capital expenditures, and general corporate purposes.
