DBRS Morningstar Discontinues Ratings on Small Business Origination Loan Trust 2018-1 DAC

DBRS Ratings Limited (DBRS Morningstar) discontinued its ratings on the Class C Notes and Class D Notes issued by Small Business Origination Loan Trust 2018-1 DAC (the Issuer).

The discontinuations reflect the full repayment of the Class C Notes on the 15 January 2021 payment date and the full redemption of the Class D Notes, following the exercise of the Clean-Up Call Option by the Issuer at the payment date on 16 February 2021. Prior to their repayment, the ratings and the outstanding principal balance of the Class C and D notes were as follows:

--Class C Notes rated at AA (high) (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 2,073,443.52
--Class D Notes rated at AA (low) (sf) with an outstanding principal balance of GBP 7,661,210.97

In DBRS Morningstar’s opinion, a discontinued-repaid rating action does not warrant the application of the entire principal methodology, as the bonds have been repaid in full.

The last rating action on this transaction took place on 7 January 2021, when DBRS Morningstar discontinued its rating on the Class B Notes following its repayment in full. Previously, on 9 October 2020, DBRS Morningstar upgraded its ratings on the Class B, Class C, and Class D notes to AAA (sf), AA (high) (sf), and AA (low) (sf), respectively, from A (high) (sf), A (low) (sf), and BB (high) (sf), respectively.
