Home Capital Group Inc., through its primary operating subsidiary, Home Trust Company (Home Trust), is engaged in residential mortgage lending, mainly to non-prime borrowers, in addition to commercial mortgage lending, credit card lending and a modest amount of other consumer lending. Home Trust is funded primarily by brokered deposits and securitization in addition to direct deposits through its direct-to-consumer brand, Oaken Financial.
