Summary
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (OTPP) was created by the Province of Ontario in 1990 as an independent organization to assume the management of the defined-benefit pension plan of teachers in the province. OTPP is governed by the Teachers' Pension Act and is jointly sponsored by the province and Ontario Teachers' Federation.
