Central 1 Credit Union

Central 1 Credit Union (Central 1) provides critical payments, treasury and clearing and settlement services at scale to credit unions and other financial institutions. Owned by credit unions in British Columbia and Ontario, Central 1 also provides loan syndication and mortgage securitization, as well as fraud management services and other non-financial services. As a member of Payments Canada, Central 1 may have access to the Bank of Canada's (BOC) Emergency Lending Assistance program, access to which is allowed at the discretion of BOC and is contingent on meeting prescribed eligibility requirements.
