Central 1 Credit Union

Central 1 Credit Union (Central 1) is the primary liquidity manager, payments processor and trade association for credit unions in British Columbia and most credit unions in Ontario. In addition, Central 1 provides operational support to credit unions with respect to online banking, loan syndication and mortgage securitization as well as trade administration and other non-financial services. As a member of Payments Canada, Central 1 may have access to the Bank of Canada's (BOC) Emergency Lending Assistance program, access to which is allowed at the discretion of BOC and is contingent on meeting prescribed eligibility requirements.
